This entire series is filled with mystery, romance, and excitement. While I didn't enjoy The Girl with the Iron Touch as much as I enjoyed the first two books, it was still a fast paced and enjoyable read.

Led by Griffin, this bunch of misfits are so much fun! All different from the rest of society, they are a family. They will protect each other at all costs. When Emily is kidnapped, the group will stop at nothing to get her back, especially Sam. The Sam and Emily romance is so sweet. Sam does not show any emotion, ever. But when it comes to Emily, he is a pile of goo. He is so protective and sweet.

Griffin and Finley are still very much apart of this story. I hated that Griffin was keeping things from her, and it was so sad that he was going through something he felt he had to keep secret. The two of them have such a strong connection, and I hate seeing trouble in paradise.

I really enjoyed the new character Mila. She is a very interesting girl, and I liked watching her grow from a machine to basically a human. I also think Jack and Mila are so cute together and am looking forward to seeing more sparks fly between them.

The Steampunk Chronicles is one of my favorite YA Victorian Steampunk series out there, and I am excited to see how this series is going to end!
